Who we are
Let’s be honest—this should probably say “Who I Am.” Dysk Digital is the name I use for my work, but behind it, it’s just me: Daisy Donald. I’ve spent the past 15 years in the media industry, both in-house and as a consultant, helping businesses grow, transform, and thrive.
The name Dysk comes from the Cornish word for “knowledge” or “learning,” which reflects everything I believe in: strategy that’s built on insight, curiosity, and evidence—not guesswork.
I hold a degree in Mathematics and Finance from the University of York, and an Executive MBA from IE Business School in Madrid. I began my career at the Financial Times in the B2B team, then moved into data and product roles before founding the Customer Experience function. After leading the paywall launch at Reuters, I returned to the FT as part of the leadership team at FT Strategies, a media consultancy where I helped triple revenue and worked with a wide range of clients—from national newspapers to niche B2B publications.
I’m passionate about helping the media industry evolve in ways that are both sustainable and exciting. And outside of work? I’m probably planning a trip, experimenting with something ambitious in the kitchen, or strongly encouraging someone to do karaoke.
